Applying for Aid: Non-Traditional Students

1. Enroll 

Apply and be accepted into the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) program through the Department of Continuing Education.

2. Complete the FAFSA Online

Federal School Code is 001536
Create an FSA ID and Password at fsaid.ed.gov.

FAFSA may be completed as early as October 1, financial aid cannot be determined until all applications and documentation has been received and reviewed.

3. Submit Additional Documentation 

Students will be notified via their CaneLink Student Center under "View Financial Aid" of any additional documentation the Office of Student Financial Assistance and Employment deems necessary in review and processing of the student’s financial aid application. No financial aid can be finalized until all requested documentation is received and reviewed by the OSFAE.
